Next, there’s another two inches of supportive transition foam, which mostly helps in weight distribution and cushioning. Finally, there’s the four-inch-thick high-density support foam, which gives the whole mattress a sturdy but breathable base.
Eight manages to combine these layers in a way that feels homogenous, so you don’t feel any distinct differences between each layer.
Some users have reported a notable degree of motion transfer, meaning light sleepers might have a problem with disturbances if they’re using this mattress. I haven’t experienced untoward bounce or reactivity from the mattress’ materials, but it’s a point worth noting.
Smart Technology Layer
