Voxox specializes in business communication solutions ever since the company’s conception in 2006. Their latest VoIP system, Cloud Phone, offers a bunch of features which can really improve call handling for your organization. A smart auto assistant is always ready to greet callers professionally and prompt them to the menu option where they can navigate their way to a pre-recorded message for information or to connect to the appropriate department. They also throw in a call management perks in all of their packages. Keep Things Professional: With Cloud Phone’s Auto Attendant, your callers will be welcomed with a professional company greeting and given menu options on how to proceed with the call.
Not Just For Calls: Cloud Phone goes the extra mile by offering two-way texting with an allocation ranging from 200 to unlimited SMS per month.
Add Users as Needed: As your business expands, so does the number of your employees. You can add users and extensions to your account at any time- both you and the employees can define settings with regards to their account’s call management.
Straight-Forward Design Without the Complication: Even less tech-savvy people can familiarize themselves with Cloud Phone within a few minutes, as their interface is simple and easy to absorb.

Numbers Restricted to US and Canada: As of the moment, you can only choose numbers within the US and Canada- international numbers are included in their plan for the future though, so stay tuned for their updates.
Basic Plan Is A Bit Limited: Cloud Phone’s Basic Plan does not allot any call minutes, and you have to pay 5 cents for every minute of outgoing calls.

Pricing

Starting with the Basic Plan at $12 a month, it includes 1 toll-free or local number, and 200 text allowance per month. Outgoing calls cost 5 cents per minute- there is no allocation for free calls, which is a bit of downer considering you are already paying to use the service. Nevertheless, this package is good if you need a phone number to direct your customers to, and set improvements for the incoming call process.

Next comes the Plus Plan at $24 a month. It offers 1,000 monthly call minutes and text messages, and 2 toll-free or local numbers. If you need more allowance, the Pro Plan ups the ante with 4,000 minutes and text messages per month, and 5 toll-free or local numbers, at $49 a month. Lastly, if you want unlimited minutes and messages, and 25 numbers, then the Unlimited Plan should be a good fit. This one costs $199 a month.

All of these plans include unlimited extensions, so you can add new users as needed. You can conveniently do this via your account, just click on Add Extensions, enter the necessary information, and hit create. The invitation will then be sent to the person’s number- if they accept, then the extension is ready to accept calls.

Business-Centered Features

The Auto Attendant feature is one of the highlights of their service. It will take care of call management by answering calls and giving a company-standard greeting for a professional introduction, and call routing to ensure that important calls are attended to. You can also set menu options so callers can be prompted to pre-recorded messages, and specific departments and extension numbers.

You can also record and screen calls, create a conference of up to 5 people, automatically translate voicemails to texts and forward them to your email, receive fax documents which is emailed to you in PDF form, forward calls to international numbers (international rates apply), and call anyone from the US, Canada, and Mexico with the allotted minutes for your subscription. Of course, you can still make calls and texts beyond the allowance, but this will cost 5 cents for each minute and message. Both local and toll fee numbers can now receive text messages, so you can continue responding even when you can’t answer the call. If you want to add numbers to your account outside of the allowance, you can also do so for an additional $1 a month. Now do take note, you can only choose US and Canada numbers- they have yet to expand their offer to include international numbers, but as indicated in their FAQ page, this is already included in their road map, so you can expect them to be available sometime in the future.

30-day Free Trial

If you are still on the fence with Cloud Phone, you can try out their service with no cost for 30 days. Just choose the plan that you like and fill out the form. Now, you may notice that they will ask for your billing information. They will also enter a charge amounting to your chosen plan within the 30 day trial, but don’t panic just yet. It is simply an authorization charge, and will be reversed once you cancel within the 30-day period.

Cloud Phone has an extensive FAQ section where you can learn the nitty gritty of their features. They also have a knowledge base where you can find articles and guides in using their service. Should you need to contact their support team, you can send them an email or submit a ticket request. You can also call them- unfortunately, they have not published their operating hours, so it would be safe to assume that they are only available during business hours.

Their basic plan needs some improvement though, as it does not have any allowance for free outgoing calls. As for phone numbers, they have yet to offer international ones- you can only currently choose numbers from US and Canada. Moreover, your call minute allowance is restricted to these countries and Mexico, meaning other countries will incur fees. Nevertheless, Cloud Phone is specifically designed for a business environment, with features focused on providing a streamlined communication.
