JustHost may not be the best shared hosting provider out there, but they do offer just enough that should benefit small to medium sized businesses. For starters, they offer low introductory prices and a money back guarantee – which, combined, means that customers can bail out virtually risk-free or try out their services without breaking the bank. They also throw in a lot of extras for good measure – such as a free script library and even 1-click installs, for example. And while all of that is great, there are quite a few things regarding JustHost’s service that doesn’t quite hit the mark. Pros

Low Introductory Prices – Carrying on the trend of other web hosts, JustHost also offers low introductory prices. The lowest that you can get, for example, is less than $5 per month – which should offer significant savings on your initial term.
Lots of Extras – JustHost also provides a ton of extras for users to chew on, from a free script library to 1-click installers, a drag and drop website builder, and more. Some of the other web hosts out there are content in offering just one or two freebies, so it’s great that this one in particular goes the extra mile to provide great value for your money.
Money Back Guarantee – Not every service is fit for every type of customer, which is why it’s great that JustHost provides a rather flexible money back guarantee. On top of the usual 30-day stipulation, you can also get your money back if you cancel after your initial 30 days are up – though take note that you would get a prorated refund (which is, honestly, more than fair).

Cons

Uptime – A web host is only as good as the uptime it can provide its customers, and a solid uptime is especially crucial for websites on a shared server. While JustHost’s uptime is not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, it isn’t that great either, and it actually lags behind some of the other shared web hosting providers out there that consistently provide near 100% uptime.
Add-Ons – JustHost offers various add-ons that you can avail of if you want more functionality for your subscription, which is great, but it does add to the overall cost. More than that, when you are subscribing, various add-ons are checked off by default, so if you are not careful, you might just end up accidentally paying for more.
Regular Rates – The low introductory prices are great, but once your initial term is over, the prices revert to their regular rates, which are a bit on the expensive side. You can lower the price by a bit per month, but that would mean committing to a 2 or even 3 year term.

JustHost brings a lot to the table in terms of features – though, of course, what you actually get would depend on the subscription plan that you go with. Still, it can’t be denied that there is a lot on offer compared to what some of the other shared hosting providers give out. For starters, you can get unlimited storage, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited domain hosting, unlimited add-on domains, unlimited parked domains, unlimited subdomains, unlimited email forwarding, unlimited POP3/POP3 secure email support, and unlimited IMAP/Secure IMAP email support. You also get the industry standard cPanel control panel, FTP access, SSH access, MySQL databases, a host of eCommerce features, and even multimedia features that let you stream video and audio.

Regularly, it goes for $11.99 for the month-to-month term; $10.99/month for the 12-month term; $9.99/month for the 24-month term; and $9.49/month for the 36-month term. Setup is free for all terms, while you would have to pay for the domain registration if you go for the month-to-month term.

If you need more, then their most popular plan, the Plus, might be right up your alley. You get 10 websites, 150GB of storage, unmetered bandwidth, 1 free domain, 20 parked domains, 50 subdomains, 100 email accounts with 500MB storage each, plus freebies like $150 of marketing credits, and SpamExperts, which normally goes for around $24/year, for 1 domain. You can get this plan now for only $6.95 per month, but expect to pay the regular rate once your term is up. In terms of their response times, they are pretty decent – though there were times where live chat sessions took a bit to start. Beyond that, they also provide a comprehensive knowledge base that provides various good-to-know information about their services. All in all, this shared hosting provider offers a solid range of customer support options and generally good response times.
