The Arvixe VPS Linux plans uses CentOS 6 operating system. They don’t have limits on bandwidth and data transfers, which means there’s no cap on the traffic and emails the customer’s website receives. Arguably, Arvixe gives a compelling reason for potential customers to take a second look at what they can offer, what with their Linux and Windows platform range of options. It’s unfortunate that they don’t capitalize on this since not all web hosting providers offer both. For example, for Linux VPS, they only offer CentOS 6, and for Windows, only the Windows 2012 version. And quite possibly, the steep cost of the VPS plans can also be a point of contention for some. The limitation on scalability can also be an issue, since Arvixe can only provide up to 100GB of disk space and up to 3GB RAM. Arvixe may be able to provide a decent VPS, but these limitations render their slogans, Exclusivity without the price-tag and the Arvixe Advantage, a missed shot.
