Create a Website for Free!
With just your email address, you can immediately create a website and bring it live online. After entering your email, chosen domain, and password, you will choose the type of your website – whether it is for personal, business, or an online store. For hotels, a business website will more likely fit, although you can also choose the online store if your hotel happens to sell merchandise and other knick-knacks. Next, the available templates will be laid out. You can choose to preview the whole template first, or choose it for editing right off the bat. After a few seconds of setting up, you will then be redirected to the editing page, where you can start tweaking the elements of each page. You can publish the changes in one click when you are finished.
Pricing and Features
If you’ve tried Webnode’s free account and would like to have more power and features, then you can opt to upgrade to one of their paid plans. They have four different packages to choose from: starting with the Limited plan, at $3.95 a month, you can enjoy 100 MB of storage with 1 GB of bandwidth, and you can use your own domain. This does not include domain registration though, so you will have to shell out extra for it. You don’t need to look far though, as Webnode offers domain registration services as well.
Next up, the Mini plan. At $5.95 a month, you get a free domain for a whole year, 500 MB of storage, 3 GB of bandwidth, 1 email account, access to website statistics, and the ability to use video files as your website’s background.
Their most popular offer, the Standard plan, costs $11.95. This upgrades the components to 2 GB of storage and 10 GB of bandwidth, and 20 email accounts. Aside from all of the previous plan’s features, ads on your page are also removed for a more professional feel. Google Analytics integration, meanwhile, provides better analysis of your traffic. Finally, you also get 5 backup and recovery sessions, and choice of 2 languages.
Lastly, the Profi plan, their most expensive package at $19.95 a month, turns everything up to eleven, thanks to unlimited bandwidth, 5 GB of storage, 100 email accounts, and all of the features. You also get unlimited language addition and backup and recovery.
Do keep in mind that the minimum subscription period for any Webnode paid plan is one year, so you may want to thoroughly check everything under the hood in your free account before committing your pockets. If you want to subscribe for multiple years though, you can receive discounts and save more, and you don’t have to manually renew every year.
Satisfaction Guaranteed
Webnode offers a 15-day money back guarantee for all of their premium plans, if you happen to find that they are not suitable for your needs. They will refund the full amount of your payment, so you need not worry about any losses. This does not cover domain registration costs though, as well as renewal fees and subscriptions paid via voucher. But if it is your first time signing up for their service, it’s nice to know that you have an option to backout and keep your money intact if things just don’t click.
Optimized for Mobile
Nowadays, everyone owns mobile gadgets given their convenience and portability. In this regard, having a website that responds to a mobile screen will not only help you reach out to a wider audience, but can also provide a better browsing experience for people that check out your hotel website using their mobile devices.
Customer Service
Webnode has a FAQ section where you can find information about getting started, using the editor, adding content, using premium services, adding widgets, and many more. If you want to get ahold of their support team, you can send them an email, or submit a ticket request from your dashboard. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ for the latest news and promos.
What's the Verdict on Webnode?
Webnode for Hotels Review 2020 – Conclusion
Webnode finds its strength in offering a free account where users can start building their website and proceed to publish it online without spending a single penny. While the features are quite limited, it does give a way for you to test out their editor, and to see the kind of templates that they offer. Speaking of which, all of their templates are impressively designed, and are mobile responsive for any visitor on their smartphone or tablet. That said, the service has a one-year minimum for their plans, and their storage allocation is smaller than what others offer, even with their most expensive one. They also focus on ecommerce, and don’t have any hotel-related features. But if you are planning to start simple and use the website only to showcase your hotel’s facilities, then Webnode can make it happen.
